Scentuelle helps increase the female libido
The intimacy and closeness that come from a healthy sex life are something that should not be underestimated. It’s an essential part of any loving relationship. So if you find that your sexual desire seems to have waned - or disappeared completely - it can be, understandably, distressing.
Without desire you may find sex dissatisfying or even shy away from it altogether. For most women sexual response begins in the mind. So it follows that if you have a deficiency or absence of sexual thoughts and fantasies, then your body is unlikely to want to behave - or respond - in a sexual way.
The first thing to remember is that you are not alone. Many women experience a lack of desire at some point during their lives; whether it’s caused by external factors such as stress and fatigue, or by physical changes, like the menopause. It is not unusual and there are things you can do to help.
Scentuelle is uniquely designed to help stimulate the libido. Each patch is impregnated with a special scent which can help trigger sexual feelings.
What is Scentuelle?
Scentuelle is a clear, non-transdermal (nothing enters the bloodstream) patch that has been impregnated with a unique combination of aromas. By smelling the patch at frequent intervals it encourages feelings of desire.
You’ll find 30 patches in a Scentuelle pack. It is suggested that you put on a new patch every day. Most women find wearing it on their wrist allows them to access it discreetly.
For maximum effect it is suggested that you wear your patch all the time (even in bed) and make an effort to sniff at least once every hour.
How does it work?
To understand how a scent can affect your desire it is first important to understand how we recognise different smells and how our brain reacts to them.
It’s true. Our nose merely acts as a vehicle for channelling the odours to the right place. This is to the ‘smell receptors’ located on the edge of our brains at the top of the nose. These receptors go straight into our ‘limbic system’ - the part of the brain that deals with feelings of happiness and pleasure (including our sex drive). So, in effect, our nose gives us a direct route into our ‘pleasure centre’.
When a smell molecule arrives, its size, shape and electrical charge determines where it fits on our smell receptors. And where it fits tells our brain what the smell is and how it should react to it.
Certain smell molecules cause the brain to behave in certain ways. For example, dopamine molecules tell it to release ‘happy hormones’ that make us feel good - and even aroused.
The unique combination of aromas in Scentuelle have been specifically chosen to create smell molecules that mimic the size, shape and electrical charge of dopamine molecules.
